A forklift driver was injured in an industrial accident at food manufacturer Agristo on Heieinde in Tilburg on Sunday evening. The employee became trapped with one leg, because a forklift truck fell for unknown reasons.
The accident happened around 8:30 p.m. The emergency services were called. Firefighters came to Agristo and lifted the forklift with special equipment.
The victim was taken to hospital by ambulance. Nothing is known about the severity of the injuries. The labor inspectorate will be informed so that further investigations can be initiated if necessary.
