Ten organizations from the Flemish agri-food chain have asked the government in an open letter to opt for a well-considered nitrogen policy. The Flemish government has not yet reached agreement on the Programmatic Approach to Nitrogen (PAS), which is causing a great deal of dissatisfaction within the sector. The organizations themselves provide five concrete points that can serve as handles for the definitive nitrogen framework.
