– Hyaluronic acid, which has been trending for a long time, is the number one ingredient for aging skin, because as the skin ages, its own production of hyaluronic acid runs out, so it must be increased by bringing the ingredient to the face through one’s skin care routine, says Rantala.

Vitamin A, or retinol, has widely known anti-aging effects. It increases elasticity and firmness.
In night creams, in addition to moisturizing, it is important to try even more to stimulate cell activity with the help of ceramides, for example, which results in texture, fullness, elasticity, firmness and a feeling of well-being.
– Ceramides stimulate the skin’s own collagen production. This ingredient tells the skin that there is too little collagen, so the skin boosts its own production, says Rantala.
Don’t forget your skin’s best friend: sunscreen
Sunscreen is central to skin well-being for people of all ages. In addition to chronological aging, photoaging is a big part of skin aging, and that’s why sunscreen is the number one product for people of all ages.
– Antioxidants in general are always important when talking about signs of aging, because free radicals contribute a lot to the signs of aging on the skin. That’s exactly why they are in skin care products: to minimize the amount of free radicals, reminds Rantala.
