A police officer has been temporarily suspended after the arrest of a moped rider (16). After the police of the LaMa zone in Eisden near Maasmechelen had chased the teenager, the young man would have been dealt with harshly. The images of the arrest cause a lot of commotion. His family has since filed a complaint. “That violence was completely unnecessary,” says the suspect’s older brother.
