Maayke Tjin A-Lim defended her title in the 100 meter hurdles at the Gouden Spike with verve. Just like last year, the Hoornse hurdler was clearly faster than the other competition. Tjin A-Lim improved her personal best and the track record of Nadine Visser in Leiden by crossing the line after thirteen seconds.
Visser’s record has stood since 2017. The hurdler from Hoogkarspel then crossed the finish line after 13.06. She did not participate in the Golden Spike. Visser achieved another top performance at the FBK Games last Monday. The West Frisian immediately reached the World Cup and Olympic limit in her first outdoor race.

The difference between Tjin A-Lim and the number two and three was more than a second.
Lieke Klaver ran her best season time in the 400 meters yesterday at the Diamond League. She crossed the finish line in fifth place with 50.32. At the FBK Games, she finished second in the 200 meters last week, but now wants to focus mainly on the 400 meters.
