At least five people were injured in nightly shelling in Kiev, Mayor of Vitali Klitsjko told Telegram. Parts of a drone fell on a house.
A total of 30 drones were taken down over the capital, military sources say.
Odessa was also attacked: a food store caught fire there.
Russia invaded neighboring Ukraine 14 months ago. On Monday, Ukraine, like most other European countries, commemorates the victory over Nazi Germany, while the Russians only commemorate the Soviet victory over the Nazis on Tuesday.
