Again large van gets stuck under bridge in Veurne

For the umpteenth time, a large van got stuck under the bridge over the Lovaart and the Albert I-laan in Veurne. The van driving in the direction of Veurne continued to falter with the loading platform that ripped open completely due to the impact.

Police closed the road under the bridge until the van was towed.

In the past, many vans got stuck under this bridge with a low passage: a maximum height of 2.9 meters is possible there. There is a sign that indicates that height, but many drivers apparently do not see that.
