Another moratorium in Kortrijk

In September last year, Kortrijk encouraged residents to provide a student room at their home. In this way, the city wanted to compensate for the shortage of student housing until new projects are completed. Since the lifting of the ban, there have been 45 applications for construction projects, representing more than 1,600 rooms. 36 projects have already been licensed. Today there are 2,600 student housing in Kortrijk, with the new applications the city will reach the 4,200 student housing it needs.
