Again anger at ultra-short jury deliberation Holland’s Got Talent: ‘FAKE!’

Tina Nijkamp, who years ago as SBS 6 boss was responsible for Holland’s Got Talent, is furious, just like last year, about the ultra-fast jury deliberation after the audition rounds. “Fake!”

The judges of Holland’s Got Talent decided last night no time which candidates can advance to the semi-finals. The way this is done is an absolute shame, according to ratings professor Tina Nijkamp. She immediately addresses jury member Chantal Janzen about it, because she believes she has enough status to put a stop to this.

‘This is FAKE!’

What exactly is going on? Tina lays it out on her analysis channel: “So from September 1, as a viewer you will be watching auditions of Holland’s Got Talent for seven weeks, being happy as a viewer for the candidates when they are through and then in 8 (!) minutes it will supposedly be decided who can go through to SEMI-FINALS by jury.”

Crazy, Tina thinks. “That jury deliberation makes no sense at all. They base their choice on NOTHING ANY NEW argument. It really comes across as fake. This was also the case last year. Just isn’t right. Not even format-wise.”

‘What do you mean Chantal?’

According to Tina, Chantal really needs to intervene. “Why do the jury members and especially Chantal Janzen agree to this? Shouldn’t there just be an intermediate round? Now it’s just ‘supposedly’ voting again. Too fake for 2023.”

Tina was so angry about this last year too. Then she wrote: “After watching six episodes of auditions, I suddenly hear the jury ‘deliberating’ literally only one sentence about which twenty will go on to the semi-finals. I understand how TV works, but this seemed very fake and strange.”

Above a million

How many people watched Got Talent last night? “Holland’s Got Talent still scores over a million with the last audition round and only an 8-minute and very abrupt transition to the semi-finals: 1,096,000 viewers.”

The winner in prime time? “The Dutch team lost to France but was number one of the evening: 2,079,000 viewers. Remarkably, that is not that much for a Dutch national team match against the great football country France.”
