Five burglaries and now one brutal robbery! Since last summer, branches of the Curry-Paule snack chain have been broken into five times.
Now the next shock: An employee of the owner Andreas Kämpf (57) was brutally robbed on Friday!
Jutta W. (59) wanted to go to the staff toilet at around 12.20 p.m., which is behind the snack bar. When she opened the door, an unknown man jumped towards her.
He had previously stolen money (60 euros) from the handbag that was hanging in the toilet room. The man with the hat and red scarf hit Jutta W., pushed her and fled in the direction of Kanalstraße.
“Two construction workers who just ate with us followed him,” says Kämpf. “But he was faster and was able to escape.” Jutta W. was not injured in the attack.
Kampf now has the recordings of a surveillance camera evaluated. “A perpetrator like that has to be crazy,” he says. “Who would do something like that during peak operating hours?”
