ROLLING STONE author Joachim Hentschel has won a prize at the International Music Journalism Awards: as “Best Music Journalist of the Year”. MUSIKEXPRESS author Annett Scheffel has won the International Music Journalism Award in the Text category.
We interviewed bands for you like Nerd Connection from South Korea, Takeshi’s Cashew, Imen Siar and The Snuts.
We danced with Skinny Lister, Lola Marsh and Destroyer at ROLLING STONE night and Mia Morgan, The Petrol Girls and Alyona Alyona at MUSIKEXPRESS night.
We were also there live at the ANCHOR Awards, which were moderated by Steven Gätjen and Aminata Belli. The jury included music producer Tony Visconti, American singer-songwriter Tayla Parx, singer-songwriter Pabllo Vittar from Brazil, The Hives frontman Pelle Almqvist from Sweden, Joy Denalane and Bill Kaulitz. Cassia won the prize.
