After yesterday’s 200 kilometers of traffic jams, the Traffic Center expects today “a huge evening rush hour”

The Dutch are struggling with the busiest rush hour of the year and it was also exceptionally busy on Thursday on the Flemish highways. “At the peak, between 5.30 pm and 6 pm, there was more than 200 kilometers of traffic jams. It was a tough evening rush hour,” Peter Bruyninckx of the Flemish Traffic Center tells HLN. The traffic expert also expects a busy rush hour for tonight. Whether there is a lot of traffic on Saturday and Sunday will depend on the weather.
