For years it was the epicenter of the Oranjefeesten in the IJmond: the free market on the Breestraat in Beverwijk. Until 6 years ago that was no longer possible. The IJmond shopping street was being renovated and an alternative had to be found; the parking lot in front of the town hall. Now the flea market with the rugs returns to the Breestraat.
