Before his death, Torsun had asked for support to ease some of her worries after his death.
About a year after his cancer diagnosis, Torsun Burkhardt died on December 30, 2023, at the age of 49. Despite his incurable illness, the end of which he was able to delay somewhat with palliative chemotherapy, the shock of his death is great for friends, family and fans. His wife Selina Majer-Burkhardt was and is going through particularly difficult times. In order to support her, a fundraiser was launched for her.

This action was initiated by Audiolith called to take a little burden off Selina Majer-Burkhardt’s shoulders during these tough times. The appeal for donations specifically states: “Of course, the last year and the untimely death of her beloved husband have left her with very deep scars. Selina now has a lot to sort out and there are a lot of costs that she is currently and will incur in the next few months. Of course there are friends who will support her in this situation. Nevertheless, in addition to the sadness, she is also worried about her future, especially about the coming year.”
This campaign was probably also in the interest of Egotronics Torsun Burkhardt himself – who, according to those close to him, is said to have wished, before he died, “that after his death she would have the opportunity to take a few months to get back on track “The legs are coming.” During his lifetime, he asked for some donations for his wife, “in the hope that a little will come along and that his beloved wife can live financially without any worries, at least for a short time.”
