Transfer Market Information
The Ghanaian Football Association recently announced that the second division pros Ransford-Yeboah Königsdörffer (20) and Stephan Ambrosius (23) from HSV and SV Darmstadt’s Patric Pfeiffer (22) are eligible to play for the national team with immediate effect. According to Transfermarkt information, Kingsley Schindler (28) from 1. FC Köln could also play for the “Black Stars” in the future. National coach Otto Addo wants to win the native of Hamburg with Ghanaian roots for his team.
Discussions are currently underway about what his role in the national team might look like. Schindler, meanwhile, is keen to be part of the team in the future. “It would make me even prouder if I could play for my parents’ country,” said the winger in an interview in Ghana in 2020. Schindler, who is under contract with 1. FC Köln until 2023, made 20 appearances in all competitions last season, in which he scored one goal and three assists.
