After the Kayserispor-Galatasaray match, Okan Buruk made statements

In the 10th week of Spor Toto Super League, Galatasaray lost 2-1 away from Kayserispor. After the match, Okan Buruk, the coach of the yellow and red team, made a statement:

HERE ARE BURUK’S EXPLANATIONS:

It’s our 6th away game, we’ve never lost, it’s the first time we lost. It was not a game we wanted to play in the first half, we couldn’t play dike, we couldn’t find the opportunity. In the second half, we played on the opponent’s field, we found a position and they did. As a result, we couldn’t do what we wanted. We are having trouble with finishing, we couldn’t solve it. They played well on the high ball. VAR again unfortunately proved that the system did not work in Turkey. I don’t think VAR referees are enough. We are tired of dealing with referees, there are malicious appointments. It is done to demoralize players and fans. We are now looking for ulterior motives. I think that the wrong overtime minutes are given, the goalkeeper who stopped the game is not given a card, and the VAR system is used maliciously and problematically. Fixing VAR referees is getting more dangerous. I said we weren’t very good, I said we weren’t good enough, but we were tired of dealing with referees and VAR. Hopefully, a step will be taken regarding the referees, our unhappiness regarding the referees continues.

We had a lot of turnovers, it was a problem for us to lose so many turnovers when there are so many quality players. We played 2 matches in 1 month, it was a national break, we passed bye. We could not maintain our form, we had a lack of matches. When we did the right things, we achieved productivity, but it was short-lived. I told my players, I trust them. Don’t worry our fans, it’s only the 10th week of the league. A wound on the way to the championship, but we’ll make up for it. Trust us, we’ll catch the same vibe. If we had won psychologically, we would have gone higher, but not today. We will work harder, I think we will come to good places.
