After the death drive in downtown Berlin, eight victims were still in the hospital on Monday. None of those affected are in a life-threatening condition, said a spokeswoman for the health administration.

She did not provide any further information about the injured. The Berlin “Tagesspiegel” had previously reported.

In the shooting last Wednesday, a woman was killed and, according to the latest information from the public prosecutor, 32 people were injured.

The 29-year-old driver is in a psychiatric hospital at the request of the prosecutor. The Justice Department charges Gor H. with one count of murder and 17 counts of attempted murder.

The 29-year-old drove in two groups of people on Kudamm and Tauentzienstrasse in western Berlin’s city center.

A school class from Hesse who was a guest in the capital was particularly affected by the crime. The teacher died, and one teacher and seven students were taken to hospitals with serious injuries.
