After the death of their brother Aaron: Nick and Angel Carter raise funds for mental health organization

Aaron Carter’s siblings Nick and Angel shared on Instagram Monday (November 14) that they are raising funds in memory of their late brother Aaron. At the same time, they thanked everyone for their “love and support” in their Instagram story. Aaron Carter was found at his home in California on November 5th after he had passed away.

Nick and Angel Carter want to donate all the donations collected to the organization “On Our Sleeves”. The American organization has set itself the task of educating people about mental health, with a particular focus on children and families. Aaron Carter has been open about his mental health issues for a number of years, entering rehab for the fifth time in September.

“We are grateful for the amount of love and support given to my brother. A fundraiser was opened in his memory [On Our Sleeves] support,” wrote Nick Carter in his story. Angel Carter writes similarly, adding, “The great memories you shared of Aaron brought a smile to my face during this dark time. Mental health is incredibly important. It is not talked about enough and often ignored. Mental illness can lead to many problems in life and serious consequences such as addiction.” She also describes Aaron as a “kind, gentle, talented and funny person.”
