Qatari photographer Khalid al-Misslam died on Saturday while working at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. This was announced by the TV station “Al Kass TV” on Twitter on Monday.
The Qatari ‘died suddenly while covering FIFA World Cup’it said there. “We believe in Allah’s mercy and forgiveness on him and offer our deepest condolences to his family.” Further details are currently not known.
Wahl dies in the stadium
On Friday, US journalist Grant Wahl collapsed in the stands of the Lusail Stadium shortly before the penalty shoot-out between Argentina and the Netherlands and was revived several times. However, the 48-year-old could not be saved and died.
