After switching cats, boarding house owners live in a ‘nightmare’

Owner Hannie Hendriks of Dierenpension D’n Diesdonk is quite upset by all the negative reactions to the exchange of two cats. A hangover was given to the wrong people and since then the owners of the Budelse boarding house have been living in a ‘nightmare’, according to their own words.

“It’s the worst thing that can happen to you,” says Hannie Hendriks. “We always let the owners take their own cat out of the room. That’s how we did it this time. They called him, hugged him for a while and then took him home. Alexandra also came to pick up her cat Sammy in this way. Even then nothing had happened yet.”

However, after four days it turned out that Sammy had been switched with another cat. And now Sammy is also missing, because the people who accidentally took him have put him outside in a part of Eindhoven that he does not know.

Alexandra has posted a cry for help on Facebook. It has already generated more than eight hundred comments and indignant reactions. Even the national media paid attention to the switch.

Hannie and her husband find all the fuss terrible and call it ‘horrible’ what is written about them. “The only thing we want, of course, is that Sammy is found quickly. Fortunately, we also received a few messages of support from our regular customers.”

The collection policy of Dierenpension D’n Diesdonk has now been adjusted and Alexandra has received her money back. In the coming days, she will continue to search for Sammy, she reports on Facebook.
