The hearing was scheduled to take place behind closed doors on Thursday. It is up to Russia, which currently holds the presidency of the UN Security Council, to determine the organization of the session.

With a range of about 4,500 kilometers, this long-range ballistic missile could hit the US island of Guam, for example. UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has already condemned the action.
