VfB Stuttgart has exercised the purchase option for top striker Serhou Guirassy and has committed the Frenchman, who has only been on loan so far.
VfB Stuttgart is currently preparing for the two relegation games against Hamburger SV. A change of personnel could give the Swabians an additional boost: VfB Stuttgart has exercised the option to buy Serhou Guirassy and has signed the attacker, who was previously on loan from the French first division club Stade Rennes. The 27-year-old striker (11 goals in 22 games) has a non-league contract until June 30, 2026.
“I’m glad that all sides were able to agree,” said Guirassy. “My entire concentration is now on the two relegation games. I will do everything to ensure that VfB plays in the Bundesliga again next season.”
