After loan from Inter Miami: Beckham’s son Romeo signs with Brentford B

“Has developed fantastically”

David Beckham’s son Romeo is returning to England on a permanent basis. Brentford FC announced on Saturday that the 20-year-old son of the former Man United star has been signed to the second team after a six-month loan from Inter Miami. The winger signed for a year with an option for another season. In Miami he had previously played in the MLS Next Pro and recorded two goals and ten assists in 26 competitive games.

Neil MacFarlane, Brentford B head coach, said: “We added Romeo to our squad in January and he has developed fantastically for the team. We have developed him on and off the pitch and we look forward to him coming back in good spirits to continue working with him next season.”

From 2014 to 2015, Romeo Beckham played in Arsenal’s youth team before moving to the United States for family reasons. It remains questionable whether he will ever be able to pursue a career like his father. With Manchester United, the 115-time national player was a total of six times English champion, World Cup and Champions League winner and won the cup twice and the English Supercup five times. He also played for Real Madrid, AC Milan, PSG and Los Angeles Galaxy.
