The fall of ice from the roof of a building in the center of Voronezh was the reason for initiating a criminal case. As a result of the incident, a young girl and her mother were taken to the hospital.
According to the investigative department for the Voronezh region, on February 22 at about 18:00 from the roof of house No. 1 on Komissarzhevskaya street ice block popped and fell on the sidewalk, on which at that moment a 32-year-old woman with a 3-year-old daughter was walking.
Both mother and girl were injured and were hospitalized. The preliminary diagnosis of the injured child is a fracture of the occipital bone, the woman received bruises and abrasions. The degree of damage to the health of the victims is established.
On the fact of the incident, a criminal case was initiated under the article “Provision of services that do not meet safety requirements, which negligently caused serious harm to human health.”
As part of the investigation, among other things, the degree of guilt of the utility company providing services for the operation of the building will be assessed.
