After havoc: road surface repair in Wijtschate started

The current asphalt will first be excavated in order to provide a new bottom and top layer. Next Wednesday they will apply new road markings.

The accident has raised many questions about adapting the road infrastructure at the intersection of Rijselstraat and Komenstraat. The province is therefore making an analysis of the infrastructure and investigating the link with the fatal accident. The road manager is then asked to take measures. In addition, they also inform all partners involved about the analysis and provide a follow-up process.
