After bronze and silver, now gold for Heemkskerker Ralph Hoogeboom at the NK Judo

The new Dutch champion in the class up to 100 kilos is Ralph Hoogeboom. The judoka from Heemskerk did that at the Dutch Judo Championship in Almere. Earlier in his career he already won the silver and bronze medal, but now he can call himself the best in the Netherlands for the first time.

The necessary big names were missing in Almere. For example, Noël van ‘t End, Sanne van Dijke and Frank de Wit were absent. Yet the level was high at this somewhat stripped-down Dutch Championship. Ralph Hoogeboom won the final against Silvan Bulthuis in the class up to 100 kilos. Duco Krijvenaar finished in third place. De Beverwijker won the gold medal last year, but was unable to extend his title.

Monday evening a portrait of Ralph Hoogeboom will appear in the NH Sport broadcast on TV.
