FC Bayern midfielder Jamal Musiala can again complete part of the team training with the Munich team after his serious injury at the Club World Cup.

164 days after breaking his fibula at the Club World Cup Jamal Musiala is back in FC Bayern Munich team training. The FC Bayern star officially returned to the pitch six months before the German national football team’s opening World Cup game against Curaçao.

Musiala was seriously injured in the quarter-finals of the Club World Cup against Paris St. Germain in a duel with then PSG goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma. On Tuesday morning, the 22-year-old completed part of the team training again.

FC Bayern writes on its homepage that Musiala was “warmly welcomed by his teammates” – the Munich team also published a video of this on their social media channels.

The hopeful was first allowed to run through the line of his teammates before he took part in the warm-up and some passing exercises. The offensive player then continued his individual rehabilitation measures, the club statement said.

Lennart Karl has replaced Musiala well so far
