The appeals committee of the world football association FIFA rejected the complaints and thus confirmed the decision made by the disciplinary committee in mid-February. This was announced by FIFA.
“After examining the submissions of both parties and considering all the circumstances of the case, the FIFA Appeals Committee confirmed the replay of the match and the fine of CHF 50,000 each imposed on the two associations for abandoning the match,” it said the message.
