Artist Evening Silva publishes a new one The wedding waltz-song on June 16. The singer’s Instagram story shows that one lucky wedding couple got to hear the song much earlier. In the video of the story, the newly married couple dances their wedding waltz to Ilta’s song.

Iltalehti caught up with the artist, who reveals how he ended up sending the couple his song long before its official release date.

– They asked me on Instagram if they could have the song for their wedding. I thought, “well, it’s a joke, I can send it if you promise not to leak it anywhere”, the singer opens to Iltalehte.

Ilta says that the couple’s special request was wonderful for her and evoked good feelings in the singer.

– After all, it is the greatest honor in the world if people want to sing my Hääwalssi song and dance to it at a wedding, summarizes Ilta.

Ilta got to dance the wedding waltz herself in the summer of 2021, when she got married Troy Silva – with his beloved. The couple had been dating for a year at that time. The artist told Iltalehte in 2022 that he had received messages questioning whether the singer really wanted to get married so quickly.

– It’s healthy that people question and they really can, the musician told Iltalehte.

– If I got a hard feeling about this, that would tell about something. When people question it, it only confirms that there really is no problem here, Ilta added.

Ilta is known, among other things, for its 2021 New Music competition song Who Am I Calling? Ilta’s career got a sudden start when in 2015 she got to perform with the rap artist Cheek Bridgesfor the song.
