The correct path

A career choice test showed Sven the way to care. His heart was clearly in helping others and caring for people in their final stages of life. “I want to provide comfort to people who need it,” explains Sven. Although this desire did not come directly from personal experience, it felt like the right path for him.

Immediately after a day of hiking

His work supervisor, Monique, played a crucial role in his learning process and the whole team supported him in carrying out his assignments.

Sven now works in the somatic ward. Here he helps people with physical care needs. It is the small moments and deep connections with residents that warm his heart. “They taught me to appreciate life and enjoy every moment,” says Sven.

Future dream

With his diploma in his pocket, Sven looks with hope at what the future has in store for him in healthcare. “I want to continue working as a caring IG. On the work floor I am in direct contact with people,” he emphasizes. His career path may have opened a new chapter, but Sven’s desire to help others remains strong.
