African, Asian and Latin American film festival: from 29 April

Un a passionate reconstruction of Bamako in the 1960s, the ballrooms and the vogue of the twist, the love between two young African militants at the dawn of independence and the Pan-African socialist utopia: it will be Twist à Bamako by Robert Guédiguian the opening film, April 29, of African, Asian and Latin American film festival.

In four Milanese rooms and on the platform MYmovies, 10 days of screenings, meetings and events.

Not to be missed, in competition, three films with female names: the portrait of Haitian youth by Fridathe Colombian Amparoprotagonist is the mother of a young soldier leaving for a mission and the Algerian Soula.

The most pop section of the festival And everyone laughs … hosts the closing film, Kung Fu Zohra: parody of martial arts films, but also a story of domestic violence and female empowerment of a young Moroccan woman in Paris.
