Scored 29 goals last season
Top center forward Dominic Solanke has signed a two-year contract with AFC Bournemouth. As the Premier League promoted announced on Wednesday evening, the 24-year-old signed a contract that is now valid until 2026. With a market value of 16 million euros, Solanke is the second most valuable professional in the squad of the “Cherries”.
Bournemouth signed the Englishman from Liverpool in early 2019 for 21.2 million euros – the third most expensive signing in the club’s history. Since then he has been directly involved in 69 goals in 138 games. He contributed 29 goals last Championship season, only Fulham FC’s Aleksandar Mitrović topped that with 43. “This is a big moment for AFC Bournemouth. Dom was instrumental in our success last year and securing his future with us is an important signal from the club. He is an impressive personality both on and off the pitch and the fact that he has decided to sign this contract speaks volumes for us as a football club,” said Neill Blake, Managing Director.
