P.unfortunately ultraviolet rays are responsible for a series of negative effects on the skin (premature aging, erythema, burns, photodermatitis) which can be helped with cosmetic touch-ups before the holidays.
Without it, there would be an alteration of the production of hyaluronic acid, collagen and elastinwhereby the skin would become thick, dry and wrinkled.
Aesthetic touches before the holidays: what you need to know
The most affected areas are face, neck, décolleté. Let’s see together the anatomy of the skin: it is made up of two layers: one superficial, the epidermis, the other deep, the dermis. The dermis is the structural layer, the “lining” of the epidermis.
The cells of the dermis, the fibroblasts, synthesize hyaluronic acid, collagen and elastin. The function of hyaluronic acid is to maintain hydration, firmness and plasticity of the skin thanks to its property of binding water.
Elastin is an elastic protein that forms a resistant network, capable of stretching and contracting.
Collagen is a protein with a structural and supportive function. The concentration of these substances decreases in the tissues with exposure to the sun. Pins and cosmetic touch-ups can help greatly.
Hyaluronic acid yes, to recharge with hydration
Hyaluronic acid, when introduced from the outside through the “puncture” and aesthetic retouches, stimulates the fibroblasts to produce endogenous hyaluronic acid, collagen and elastin precisely at a time when the skin is more defenseless because it is under the aggressive and depleting action of the sun.
The big news is a technique called STT (Skin Toning erapy ©). This treatment strongly improves hydration and skin tone without changing the contours of the face and without any increase in volume.
Through the infiltration of hyaluronic acid in the structure of the dermis, the effect of binding water is obtained (for which it increases hydration and skin tone) and to recall the fibroblasts (which will produce hyaluronic acid, collagen and elastin). The hyaluronic acid, thus injected, forms a deep network in the dermis and biostimulates it for about six months.
Botox, no problem before the sun
Among the treatments recommended before sun exposure there is also biorevitalization which consists in the infiltration of a cocktail composed of hyaluronic acid, botox, amino acids and vitamins. This improves the firmness and elasticity of the skin. Face, neck, décolleté and hands can thus be treated.
A few days before exposure to the sun, the Botox treatment is recommended for wrinkles on the forehead and around the eyes (“Crow’s feet”).
The muscles thus stretched will allow a greater flow of blood to the skin and the failure and repeated movement will reduce the “consumption” of noble proteins, contributing to a homogeneous appearance of tanned skinto.
