The US shoe retailer Aerosoles is adding additional categories to its range and intends to offer men’s shoes in the future. To this end, the company has now entered into a licensing partnership with the New York shoe manufacturer Orly Corporation.
As the Aerosoles parent company American Exchange Group announced on Friday, the cooperation includes the development and marketing of men’s slippers and socks, flip-flops for women and men and roller skates for women, men and children. According to the company, the first collections developed as part of the new partnership are to “complement the brand’s classic women’s shoe models” and will be available from summer 2023 at well-known US retailers such as Nordstrom and Macy’s and later also in specialist shops.
“This is an exciting time for Aerosoles and we are thrilled to be partnering with one of the best companies in the industry to offer our customers a comprehensive product offering,” said Alen Mamrout, President and CEO of American Exchange Group. “As a global lifestyle brand, we strive to create a coherent retail presence across a wide range of products for men, women and youth.”
Orly is the first licensing partner Aerosoles has secured following its recent acquisition by the American Exchange Group, Mamrout said. The brand’s goal now is to expand into “exciting new product categories” through further licensing deals, added Cynthia Nixon, Vice President, Licensing & Brand Development, of the parent company.
