Since the first gig together for years, Steven Tyler and Joe Perry have apparently matured to bring Aerosmith back on the tracks. Both were on stage at a benefit concert in San Francisco in May. They collected money for Janie’s Fundthe non -profit organization that Tyler founded to help women in need of protection.
It was the first comeback after Aerosmith announced in 2024 to go to rock pension. Now Perry indicated at Trunk Nation (Sirius XM) that the musicians are thinking again.
“I mean, apart from the appointments in the calendar, we are all healthy and alert, so we just have to wait,” said guitarist Eddie Trunk. “I know that there has to be at least another Aerosmith appearance, and I’m not looking forward to putting the set list together, but I don’t know, man. We’ll just have to wait.”

Aerosmith: Is Steven Tyler fit for further appearances?
In any case, it doesn’t sound 100 percent convincing that it should be an uncomplicated matter to reactivate Aerosmith again. After all, the decision also went back to Tyler’s problems with his vocal cords.
Perry continues in the interview: “You know, I always played as if every show was the last. I don’t want to sound pessimistic, but I give everything every evening, you understand? And I don’t know, you know that it was certainly the case that we were canceled on the first gig that was canceled that it would happen that it would happen again, but you know that life is.”
When asked whether Steven Tyler was fit enough to play an entire concert, the musician replied optimistically: “I think so. I think it’s just a question of arrival …” Here, too, the band himself spoke in a statement that the vocal cord injuries of her singer were ireparable.
Loud The Guardian Tyler will perform at the farewell concert by Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath in July. Meanwhile, Joe Perry is on the road with his own band, The Joe Perry Project. In August it goes on a US tour.
