Ski freestyler Emma Weiß has to wait for the final in the jumping competition at the World Championships in Bakuriani, Georgia. The jumping was postponed to Thursday due to strong winds.
The 23-year-old had secured the ticket for the medal decision with twelfth place (80.04 points) in the qualification.
White is not one of the favorites in the so-called “Aerials”, but hopes to be among the top ten.
In the four World Cup competitions this winter she was fifth twice, sixth once and ninth once. At the Olympics in Beijing, Weiß had only finished 20th, and she finished eleventh in her two World Cup appearances in 2019 and 2021.
