Airline KLM has made misleading advertising by stating that customers can fly CO2-free. This was determined by the Advertising Code Committee (RCC) on Friday in a ruling that was viewed by NU.nl. An aircraft does emit CO2, but customers can compensate those emissions for a fee. With that money, KLM participates in reforestation projects.
