27 engineers from all over Germany traveled to Schleswig-Holstein to start their advanced studies in asphalt technology at the Technical University (TH) Lübeck. In the 2023 and 2024 academic year, engineers from construction companies, building administrations, testing laboratories and engineering offices will complete four on-campus phases at Lübeck University of Applied Sciences. In lectures, laboratory internships and seminars, they acquire in-depth knowledge of asphalt technology.
In various exercises, the engineers learn about building material tests, dimensioning, surface properties and project processing. In the lectures, they get a deep insight into the technical regulations, building materials, initial testing and proof of suitability or also into municipal road construction, environmental issues and the preservation and renewal of asphalt. The speakers from science, societies and companies change from topic to topic.
