Adrian Corsin becomes Managing Director

Mugler has a new boss. Adrian Corsin has been appointed to the role of Managing Director at the French luxury fashion house. Corsin, who previously served as Mugler’s fashion director of business acceleration, confirmed his promotion Monday on the LinkedIn careers network.

In his new role, the designated boss succeeds Pascal Conte-Jorda, who was Managing Director for the brand belonging to the cosmetics group L’Oréal for almost five years. Mugler told Women’s Wear Daily that he now wants to pursue new challenges. According to the industry magazine, Corsin will report directly to Danièle Lahana-Aidenbaum, global president of Mugler Fashion and Fragrances at L’Oréal.

Prior to Mugler, Corsin worked for Parfums Christian Dior for more than five years, most recently as International Marketing Director for Make-up, according to his Linkedin profile. Prior to that, he worked in various positions at L’Oréal for nine years.

“Managing Director is a pretty interesting title to me, to be honest,” Corsin told LinkedIn. “Mugler isn’t a house to ‘run’, it’s ‘run’. The beauty of Mugler is that he’s an untameable being – part instinct animal, part rhythmic machine – who has always created his own vision of the world. In many ways partner, lover or even tamer might be more appropriate.”
