Mayor Inge Nieuwenhuizen of the municipality of De Wolden received very cute mail on Tuesday. Jeroen, Edwin, Roelien, Marloe, Martijn and Leonie sent a note to the town hall.
They then ask for permission to start their own shop. ‘We heard on the Jeugdjournaal that more than 2,273 children under the age of 18 have a business. We want to do something for the municipality of De Wolden. We decided to start our own company with the permission of our parents and you.’
The mayor would like to get in touch with the letter writers. “But we only know the first names,” a spokesperson for the municipality said on Facebook.
