Adidas and Gucci have unveiled a lookbook showcasing the two labels’ joint collection. The lookbook has been available on Gucci’s website since Tuesday, offering a new perspective on the collection launched during the Milan fashion week presented in a fashion show.
The two labels also announced the date of the collection drop: the looks will be available in selected Gucci stores, pop-ups and in Gucci’s online shop from June 7th. Also about Adidas ‘Confirmed’ appwhich is used specifically to launch special collections and projects, the items can be purchased.
Presented on the Gucci website, the lookbook consists of a series of 61 images in which models pose in front of solid-colored backgrounds. Retro sports equipment such as tennis and baseball bats, racing bikes and hula hoops lend the recordings a nostalgic dynamic. With this staging, Gucci designer Alessandro Michele pursued the idea of an “archival catalogue”.
The collection brings together adidas’ signature streetwear elements, including trefoil and stripes, with Gucci’s ready-to-wear fashion. It includes 84 looks ranging from clothing to accessories such as hats, sunglasses and bags to shoes. The collection consists of women’s and men’s fashion.
