Herzogenaurach, – In 2015, adidas Originals presented the NMD silhouette for the first time, which revolutionized the sneaker world at the time. Six years later, a refreshed version of the shoe returns with the NMD V3. The latest silhouette of the NMD family is an icon of the future, created for rebellious trendsetters in the metropolises of tomorrow.
Engineered for a life on the move, the NMD V3 reimagines its iconic heritage with a forward-thinking vision. The silhouette is dynamic and features an optimized mesh material that wraps the foot, a transparent heel clip and BOOST cushioning partially encased in a TPU sleeve. The NMD V3’s upper is made from a high-performance yarn that’s made from at least 50% Parley Ocean Plastic—recycled plastic waste collected from remote islands, coastal regions and beaches—and 50% recycled polyester.
Accompanying the launch of the NMD V3 Silhouette is a campaign dedicated to those who create culture in every corner of their city. With Brazilian singer Anitta, Argentinian DJ and producer Bizarrap and French soccer player Karim Benzema as the faces of the campaign, the images invite everyone to break new ground. In the DACH market, the campaign was implemented together with the three creators Baochi (@baochii), Avemoves (@avemoves) and Jermaine (@jzrmainee).
The new NMD V3 will be available from August 16th at adidas.de/NMD, in adidas stores and at selected retailers.
