On the occasion of the new Ozworld collection, Adidas Originals will also offer consumers experiences in the digital world. In a few days, Adidas Originals will bring Ozworld to the gaming platform Fortnite in collaboration with the London-based company SuperAwesome, which specializes in the safety of internet users: inside under 16.
Users will find an Ozworld hub with a replica of an Adidas store and the original Adidas factory, they will be involved through a mini-game that challenges them, among other things, to find five Adidas shoeboxes hidden throughout the game .
The Ozworld hub is expanded with three portals created by influencers Noel Robinson, Vadim Averin and Sophie Reintjes and designed based on their own personalities and fashion styles.
First AI-powered avatar creation platform
Additionally, Adidas Originals, in collaboration with developer Ready Player Me, is introducing the world’s first AI-powered avatar creation platform. The Ozworld online experience allows users to create their “digital selves”, which can eventually be used exclusively with Ready Player Me on the web.
“This is the first brand partnership to fully leverage the platform’s capabilities, enabling generative avatars to be compatible with over 1,500 different Metaversum apps and games,” Adidas said in a statement.
Beginning Friday, April 8th, the avatar creation platform will open to the public at ozworld.adidas.com. The Fortnite activation, which is available worldwide, will start next Monday, April 11th, initially in the DACH market.
AdiClub members and Adidas NFT owners receive exclusive early access via a separate URL. The first set of avatars is scheduled to appear in the metaverse on April 28th.
