Adele rejects fan marriage proposal: “You can’t marry me

While Adele is performing as part of her residency in Las Vegas, she experiences some absurd fan encounters. This apparently also includes declarations of love of all kinds, as it turned out at one of their past shows at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace.

While the “Rolling In The Deep” singer made her way into the audience area, an admirer asked for her hand in marriage. Adele reportedly reacted with surprise. “You can’t marry me, I’m straight, my love,” she rejects the proposal. She also confessed that her “husband” was there that evening, by which the musician means her partner Rich Paul. The sports agent and the singer have been in a relationship for around two years. No wedding has been officially confirmed yet.

When Adele’s fan pushes her further and asks if she would like to consider the possibility of marriage, the singer hurries away. “No, I don’t want to try. “You’re crazy, leave me alone,” says the artist, laughing.

The final live show of the “Weekends With Adele” concert series is scheduled to take place on November 4th. So that the performances can take place without interruption, the singer wants to stay away from the audience from now on – so as not to become infected with anything. “I’ll be damned if I cancel another one of these shows. “I refuse to cancel any shows,” says Adele. “I just can’t risk getting sick. Honestly, my immune system is shot and I want to be close to you guys and stuff but I just can’t risk it.”
