Adele completely vomited on SBS 6: ‘She is just disrespectful’

Adele has been praised incessantly by everyone for a long time, but isn’t she actually just giving a huge middle finger to the middle class? Yes, they think at Shownieuws.

There was a time when people in the media were running away with Adele en masse. At the beginning of her career, she was also an occasional guest in Dutch programs, such as those of Paul de Leeuw. But now she is a world star. A Very Big World Star with a very well-filled bank account. And that means she can arrange everything exactly the way she wants.

Not to be trusted

Adele apparently does not feel like touring, which is why she is currently performing a regular show in Las Vegas and will be giving no fewer than ten mega concerts in the summer in a newly built stadium in Munich. When ticket sales started there was a huge digital queue, but in the end it turns out that there are still countless tickets for sale.

The problem? The tickets are shockingly expensive with prices of 300 euros for very bad seats. “You know who else you can’t trust? Adele,” sighs Dyantha Brooks Show news. “He takes the money out of your pocket. Although the online lines were extremely long for Adele’s Munich tickets, it still hasn’t sold out.”

Dyantha has doubts

Dyantha thinks Adele is a great singer, but thinks this is going too far. “Those are decent prices. I also scrolled through the website and thought: am I going to do that? But yes, you also have to go to Munich, you also have to sleep somewhere, you also want to eat a bit. I can’t get anyone with me. I tried to get you crazy, but ehhh…”

Colleague Natacha Harlequin: “No, I’m not going to do it.”

Dyantha: “Do you think it’s too much money or are you not a fan of Adele?”

2,000 euros

Natacha just doesn’t think it’s worth spending so much money on a woman. “No, I really like her, but I think this is too much hassle. With a hotel room included, those prices all go up too. You then spend 1,500 to 2,000 euros on Adele!”

Colleague Ronald Molendijk then explains that, due to the rise of streaming services, artists no longer generate income from CDs and therefore want to cash in with concerts. Dyantha: “Sorry, I think it’s such nonsense. I think it’s really a middle finger to your fans, because not everyone has 300 euros to visit Adele.”

Middle class

Adele insults the middle class, says Dyantha. “Then she gives ten shows. Isn’t that just not nice?”

Ronald has calculated how much Adele will have left after deducting costs from those ten evenings in Munich. “Adele takes home 60 million euros on those ten evenings. That’s just the math.”

Bart Ettekoven: “I still had doubts, because I really think Adele is great. I had such a fantastic seat in Las Vegas, in one of the front rows… I was invited. My neighbors paid $15,000. I wanted to see her live one day.”

‘She’ll be dead soon’

Bart feared that this might be the only chance to see Adele live. “I knew what she was going to earn in Las Vegas, I thought: for the same money she will then say that she will quit completely.”

Ronald points out that Adele can also die. Dyantha: “It is emotional blackmail that nowadays you think: I am only going to pay 300 euros plus, because who knows, she might die.”

Natacha: “And do you know what happens again? Then she gets there and then she gets nervous again and then she cancels another concert and she doesn’t dare again. Then I think: what do you mean, if you earn that much million!”

Well, that’s all over again…
