Sylvester Stallone has revealed in a new interview that he had to leave his “Rocky” statue behind when Adele bought his mansion from him last year: In dem Conversation with the Wall Street Journal, which appeared online on Monday (June 19), the 76-year-old brought up the subject of the statue that overlooks the pool at his home. When asked if he wanted to take her with him when he sold the house, the actor replied, “Yes, I did.”
But: Adele, who reportedly bought the property for $58 million, would have only done so on condition that the statue stay. The actor eventually allowed her to keep these. It shows the boxer Rocky Balboa from the films of the same name. Stallone adds in the conversation about Adele: “I like what she does, she does it beautifully.”

The American actor, film director, screenwriter and film producer not only played the leading role of the infamous boxer, but also created the character of “Rocky Balboa” in 1976. He is said to have written the 90-page script in three days.
Adele’s latest album, 30, was released in 2021.
