After Adele had to postpone her “Las Vegas Residency 2022” due to staff shortages due to the corona virus, she has now announced the catch-up dates. Her concert series, titled Weekends With Adele, is scheduled to start on November 18 and last until the end of March 2023. The shows still take place in the entertainment complex Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.
The tickets for the originally planned performances were already completely sold out. In a statement, the singer now explained how sorry she was for this dropout:
“Words cannot describe how happy I am to finally be able to announce these new shows. It really broke my heart that I had to cancel it. But after what feels like an eternity of working out the logistics for the show I really want to deliver and knowing it can happen, I’m more excited than ever! I know it was a horrible decision for some of you and I will always be sorry for that, but I promise you it was the right decision. Being with you guys in such an intimate setting each week is what I’ve been looking forward to the most and I will give you the absolute best of me. Thank you for your patience, I love you.”
