Bundesliga club TSG Hoffenheim has extended Kasim Adams’ contract by one year and, in a further step, loaned the defender to FC Basel.
The new contract of the 27-year-old, who switched to TSG in 2018 and played in three league games last season, runs until 2024. The Kraichgauer announced this on Thursday.
“Kasim has the big goal of going to the World Cup with Ghana and for that he definitely needs more playing time than he has received from us in the past,” said TSG sports director Alexander Rosen: “That’s why we decided together to give him the step to Basel and to reassess the situation after a year.”
