Adam Lambert’s career began on American Idol in 2009. The singer narrowly won the US talent show’s eighth season… not, but he secured a place in the hearts of all fans and a publishing deal with Sony. His debut “For Your Entertainment” reached number three in the US charts in the same year and also delivered one of his biggest hits, the song “Whataya Want From Me”.

The following records “Trespassing” (2011) and “The Original High” (2015) also went into the charts. Since 2012 he has accompanied Brian May and Roger Taylor as Queen’s live singers, entitled Queen + Adam Lambert, on several world tours, bringing the music of the British icons back to life for countless fans.

His current, fourth studio album “Velvet” was released in 2020, but it was not able to directly build on the success of the previous releases. “High Drama” will follow on February 24th. The cover album is an expansive collage of some of his favorite songs, from Lana Del Rey to Boy George.

He talks about this next chapter of his solo career in the ROLLING STONE interview. He also shares his thoughts on the developments and advances in LGBTQ identity representation.
