There’s a new album by Adam Green! The singer surprisingly released his new record THAT FUCKING FEELING this week.
It has become a fast-paced affair: Like the predecessor ENGINE OF PARADISE, the LP hardly exceeds the 20-minute mark. But the 10 songs, mostly no longer than 90 seconds, are a paragon of highly nervous, playful creativity between Leonard Cohen and spaghetti western atmosphere and can easily compete with Adam Green’s exploits of the past.
In THAT FUCKING FEELING, the musician also processes the difficult pandemic years. He explains the process of creating and the intention of the song as follows:
I wanted to release something that was recorded at home. In the good old Moldy Peaches days, I recorded everything at my parents’ kitchen table. But it’s been 20 years since I released a song like that. I recorded a few songs in quarantine that I sang straight into the laptop and I like how direct it feels.”

In May, Adam Green will present his new pieces and of course many highlights from the past at several Germany concerts. It is the musician’s first tour since the novel corona virus was in the world.
